This photograph was taken during a felicitation ceremony organized to honour Karthika of Kannagi Nagar, whose outstanding achievement in leading the Kannagi Nagar Women’s Kabaddi Team to victory at the Asian level brought great pride to both Kannagi Nagar and India. Coach Raj, Captain Suji, Karthika, Kaviya, and the other team members were also recognized and encouraged for their remarkable performance.

We were delighted to present a trophy to the Kannagi Nagar Women’s Kabaddi Team—specifically to Karthika, Suji, and Kavya—who achieved success at the Asian level. Awards were also presented to Coach Raj and all the other team members. Present on the occasion were Mr. Darwin Moses, Coordinator of the Community Development Unit (Tamil Nadu Urban Livelihood Mission); Mrs. Umadevi, Community Officer; Mrs. Jennifer, Community Officer; and representatives from the Kamsala Foundation, a non-governmental organization based in Kannagi Nagar.
